As of version 66 of Chrome, Chromium, ChromeOS and Firefox, videos with sound will not be played automatically anymore. Up until version 76 of Chrome and Chromium you were able to control this with the chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy
setting, but as of version 76 this option has changed to site specific settings. Here's how to enable this.
If you start Chrome or Chromium your own way, you can enable automatic video playback as follows:
chrome://settings/content/sound
in the address bar.[*.]playr.biz
and press Add.If you start Chrome or Chromium with a command on the command line, then you need to start Chrome once manually and perform the steps listed above.
ChromeOS with a remote management license will work out of the box. If you are still running your ChromeOS device in a non-managed way, try the following steps:
chrome://settings/content/sound
in the address bar.[*.]playr.biz
and press Add.This allows media with sounds from any website to be automatically played. If you use your player only for playback of Bizplay content this is probably the best option.
If you want to restrict automatic playback of media with sounds to just your Bizplay content you can keep the Block websites from automatically playing sound checkmark and click the Exceptions button.
Enter
playr.biz
in the top entry field and click the Allowbutton. Repeat this for youtube.com
and vimeo.com
and then click the Save changes buttons.
